If you consider applying to UWCs and are wondering whether you are eligible to apply through the UWC Network Austria, please note the following: citizenship is not a criterion. It is important that the focus of living is within Austria as UWC students act as representatives of their country. Therefore we will only send students with profound knowledge of Austrian culture. It is absolutely necessary to speak German at a fair level. This applies for Austrian citizens living abroad and for internationals living within Austria alike.
